Mec grew up in Chelsea, Massachusetts, and his first love of art was graffiti. That’s where it all started—painting walls, messing with letters, bold lines, and colors.
By his second year tattooing, he ended up taking first place in American Traditional, at the Tampa Tattoo Convention, which blew his mind at the time, but it just pushed him to go harder. American Traditional is what he loves most—it’s bold, it’s timeless, and it has roots. Mec also gets down with blackwork, black and gray, and lettering.
For him, tattooing is everything. It gave him purpose and drive, and it’s a way for him to turn his past into something solid that people carry with them forever. Every tattoo he does is a mix of where he came from and where he is headed, and he puts his heart into every single one. Tattoos your mother will love.
